Bucklebear Puppet
The Bucklebear Program develops behavior in children that will encourage child restraint/seat belt use throughout their lives. The program has been sponsored by the New Mexico Department of Transportation Traffic Safety Division and administered by Safer New Mexico Now for thirty years. During that time, the program has had very positive results in educational settings.

Bucklebear Puppet Rental Terms & Conditions:
To borrow the Bucklebear puppet, your request MUST BE made at least three weeks prior to your presentation.
Please Note: We will ship the puppet and supporting material via UPS one week before your scheduled presentation. The puppet may be on loan for up to two weeks unless a longer loan period is authorized by Safer New Mexico Now. After that time, it must be shipped back through UPS and insured for $500.00. Arrangements may also be made to pick up and return the puppet in person to a Safer New Mexico Now office in Albuquerque or Santa Fe.
